The foundation of the Plan Onondaga County Comprehensive Plan is in the relationships between the County, its municipalities, businesses and residents, to proactively plan for our collective future. This Countywide plan strives to improve the daily experience for all residents and visitors and to foster inspiring, healthy places where we can all feel safe and empowered.
Through listening to the needs, concerns, and aspirations of the County’s constituents, and careful analysis of County and local data, Plan Onondaga has formulated a vision, goals, and strategies for future economic growth and development, quality of life, and community-based planning. We will continue to engage and collaborate to implement the goals and strategies recommended in the plan to work together toward our community’s vision and shared future.
